Each month there's 1 top banner across the home page and 3 sponsored slots above the list. The highest bids win; a higher bid knocks a lower one out. You only pay if you win: your card is held when you bid, and the hold is released if you're outbid.

How it works
- Each month's auction runs for the 6 days before the month starts and ends at 18:00 UTC the day before.
- When you bid, Stripe places a hold on your card for that amount. Your bid only counts once the hold is confirmed.
- If someone outbids you, you're knocked out and get an email. Raise your bid to get back in; your old hold is released.
- A bid in the last 10 minutes adds 10 minutes to the clock, up to 2 hours, so nobody wins by sniping.
- When bidding ends, winners are charged and go live on the 1st for the whole month. Everyone else's hold is released and they pay nothing.
- The top banner uses your server's banner image (960×240), so upload one first. Sponsored spots are labelled "Sponsored" and don't change vote rankings.
