How to list your Hytale server
Add your server, get it approved, and connect the voting plugin.
Listing your server is free. Here's how to add it, get it approved, and make the most of your page.
1. Create an account
Sign up with your email, then click the confirmation link we send you. You need a confirmed email before you can add a server.
2. Add your server
Click Add server and fill in:
- Name and address. The address players type to join, such as
play.example.net. Add the port only if it isn't the default. - Short description. One or two sentences shown in the list. Say what makes your server different.
- Full description. Your features, rules and anything players should know. Honest, specific descriptions get more joins than big claims.
- Game modes and tags. Up to four modes, plus tags for more detail.
- Icon, banner and trailer. A clear icon and banner make your listing stand out. You can add a YouTube trailer too.
- Discord and website. Optional, but players like checking the community first.
3. Approval
We check every new server by hand before it appears, to keep fake and copied listings out. Make sure your server follows the listing rules. If something needs changing, we tell you why.
4. Connect the voting plugin
Once your server is approved, its dashboard shows an API key and a download for our free plugin. Install the plugin on your Hytale server and paste in the key. The plugin then:
- gives players their rewards when they vote,
- shows your live player count and online status on your listing,
- tracks your uptime, shown on your page.
Servers already using HytaleVotifier can add this site as a vote source instead. The dashboard shows the exact settings.
5. Grow your votes
Ask players to vote with a link in your Discord and a reminder in game. Rewarding votes is fine. Paying for votes or using bots is not, and gets servers removed. Copy the vote badge from the bottom of your server page onto your website so visitors can vote in one click.
